Mid Point Definition:
     The point halfway between the endpoints of a line segment is called the midpoint. A midpoint divides a line segment into two equal parts.

where
              (x1, y1)   (x2, y2) be the end points of a line segment.

Mid Point Example:
Find the coordinates of the midpoint of the line joining (-1, -3), (-5, -7).

 x1 = -1,  y1 = -3 and
 x2 = -5,  y2 = -7

  Substitute in the formula as :
           midpoint
